Life goes very quickly when you are a grown up. Whereas when you are a child, it takes forever to move on from thing to thing and Christmas and birthdays take years to come round!

Failing that, read "A Prayer for Owen Meany" by John Irving, available in all good bookstores. Personally I reccomend Waterstones on Princes Street just because you can drink coffee there too, but any bookshop will do really. I mean, if you really wanted to you could buy it online or from a travelling salesman of quality books if one happens to come through Granton over the next couple of days.
