the dreaded 4 minutes...
im talking about the four minutes that occur in the middle of every tv show, which contain some of the most ridiculous pointless adverts conceivable. do you think the people creating them are given a spec that if they cant come up with a clever way of advertising a product just to make it as annoying/pointless/stupid as possible so if all else fails at least it will stick in peoples minds?
Current adverts which are in my opinion stupid/annoying

basically they want you to buy a can of compressed air. My main problem with this advert is that there main aim is to combat people jumping in a pool of water with their clothes on, i wasnt aware that many people did this?? the other thing that annoys me is the winking camel, purely because its a winking camel!

the advert for 3 mobiles with the slogan " we like play" and features a freakish Chinese girl with massive hands, i dont get it. I think its not meant to be got though, its just stupid! and the whistle music gets stuck in my head!!!
...the direct line identically forgetful twins
yeah, i think the one with the dogs is the most annoying, i think if a real dog swallowed something that big it would die!! the other annoying one is the one where they leave the tap running and suddenly the roof caves in...um, i hardly think so. and of course direct line come round four minutes after its happens and sort everything , which is also highly unlikely.

that stupid ridiculous crazy frog and his equally sinister friend tweety the chick!!!
why do kids like it so much thats what i dont understand!! and the worse thing about the crazy frog is that there are now 3 versions, i hate the crazy frog!

well since when is anyone happy about paying for insurance no one cheers down the phone in real life and if they do, thats silly!

sometimes accidents happen, i think the whole concept of it is crap. Most annoying one is the guy who crushes his hand when he falls off the ladder. he says "i was given the wrong type of ladder", well if you knew it was the wrong type of ladder why did you climb it?? and the ladder they show on the advert is clearly the wrong type of ladder to do ANY job, it infact looks like the first ladder ever created! its made of wood for flips sake!! and he get like £5000 for stupidity.
...herbal essences
its shampoo!!!! shampoo does not invoke that type of reaction in anyone, and if it does, they need to get a life!

antony actuallyl pointed this out to me. The advert is about bazuka gel and how it will bazuka that veruka, and the whole thing is set in a swimming pool, suggesting that if u use it , its ok to go swimming, BUT in tiny tiny tiny writing along the bottom of the screen says that you shouldnt swim until completely clear of infection...stupid!!

the kid just freaks me out. Did they intentionally try to find a alien looking child or was that a happy coincidence??
...the lynx adverts
spray yourself with lynx and women will be all over you with very little clothes on...um, maybe not eh? lynx isnt even thats nice, its only deoderant for goodness sake, it cost like £3, and girls know that your gran prob bought you it as part of a christmas giftset!!

since writting this list ive found that my sense of annoyment (it could be a word!) is heightened when ANY advert comes on... i think i hate them all!
except the muller ones , i love the music and dance around the livingroom to it!
